This is a big, giant list of Youtube tutorials that will teach you all the basic life skills you need to know in order to be a functional adult. Dedicated the past month or so to this, so here goes:
I’ve relocalized Rockman X1-6′s scripts from scratch, based on the original text provided by Hondoori Game Center (X1-5) and DuoDynamo (X6). I have taken some liberties in regards to the structure/flow of some sentences, and tweaked certain things here and there to create more thematic continuity - but, overall, this should be much more accurate than the official localizations. I hope you all enjoy! These games are actually extremely well-written and full of social commentary on government corruption, police brutality, mental illness and the resulting societal stigma, and more - you’d never know it from the extremely poor English translations, though. Capcom is notorious for their haphazard localization practices, and the Rockman X series is one of the worst casualties to result from it.
I may eventually do X7 and X8, but their translations are mostly solid (outside of X7′s questionable VA - that can be switched to Japanese, though!) so I don’t think there’d be much for me to do outside of some minor cleanup. Command Mission, though, is going to be a massive undertaking. That game has a ton of localization problems that ruin almost every aspect of the writing.
I’ve finished relocalizing Rockman X: Cyber Mission (JP) / Xtreme (US). Soul Eraser (JP) / Xtreme 2 (US) will be coming within the next week or two.
